Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversees day to day operation of Business Center including supervision of dock; responsible for developing all Hotel sales contacts; responsible for selling all Penfield's services to meet and/or exceed established sales goals.
2. Acts as main point of contact between the Hotel and International Ram Associates; attends Hotel pre-cons with incoming groups & Hotel staff. Acts as liaison between International Ram Associates, Convention Services & Hotel Sales Department.
3. Oversees car rental program; maintains monthly rental logs.
4. Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance & upkeep of condition of store.
5. Weekly prepares & submits Monday Morning Letter.
6. Follows-up with Convention Services & Sales to identify & follow-up with prospective guests relative to renting equipment.
7. Conducts interviews with prospective job applicants; hires, trains, & supervises all staff adhering to International Ram Associates corporate personnel policy.
8. Schedules all employees for work assignments in store & on dock using Valiant payroll system on a weekly basis. Reviews & updates hours/shifts worked for each employee in Valiant system on a daily basis.
9. Conducts performance reviews for all associates; conducts disciplinary reviews as necessary documenting all meetings with employees. Conducts regular staff training meetings; promotes worker safety program (OSHA); identifies & corrects staff deficiencies by conducting additional training as needed.

Work Experience
Two years of directly related work experience including 1 year in a supervisory position. Ability to communicate effectively in English; fluency in a second language is desirable.
