Duties and Responsibilities

1. Transport and assist passengers carefully and courteously throughout the Airport.
2. Make sure passengers get to the correct gate when they are flying out of the airport.
3. Call in their passenger information to the dispatcher ( if applicable).
4. Write down and turn in passenger information at the end of the shift if they do not have a dispatcher.
5. Make sure wheelchairs are accessible for passengers, picked up from the parking garages and parking lot areas.
6. Make sure and treat all passengers that they assist with the utmost courtesy and respect.
7. Assist the airlines with lifting passengers into and out of the aisle chairs when requested under the supervision of an airline representative.
8. Assist the airlines with pre-boarding passengers if we are not busy.
9. Assist passengers with their luggage from the baggage carousels and to their final destination (shuttles, parking garage, taxi or passenger pick up).
10. Report any incident/accident with a passenger, airline employee or fellow employee immediately to their shift supervisor.
11. Stage adequate number of wheelchairs in jet ways prior to aircraft arrival.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience
Documented work history for previous 10 years; most recent 5 years verified with no gaps in history larger than 60 days without notarized documentation. Able to pass Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and obtain airport SIDA badge.
