Position Location
Hotel Security Director

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Act as the main point of contact between the hotel and International RAM. Acts as liaison between hotel, International RAM and law enforcement agencies.
  2. Evaluates all scope of work requirements.
  3. Assure that all managerial, operational, and contract requirements are fulfilled. Ensures compliance with all state requirements with respect to Private Detective Services.
  4. Review and supervise all data analysis and financial support. Review all reporting information and maintain accessible files. Review ‘Daily Incident’ reports and follows up as necessary. Prepare weekly metrics reports for site.
  5. Responsible for directing the daily activity of the security staff. Schedule the guard staff to work as contract dictates and ensure all posts are covered per contract requirements. Ensure staff has reviewed Area Hotel Security Bulletin Alerts circulated between local hotels.
  6. Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency. Oversee and contribute to internal problem resolution.
  7. Track and update the inventory on a regular basis and report any changes or discrepancies to the Director of Security
  8. Conduct interviews and background investigations on job applicants. Assure all paperwork for new hires and disciplinary action is sent to corporate office per M.O.P. Conduct fair and impartial disciplinary investigations and reviews.
  9. Update and correct all time keeping records. Approves all overtime as necessary.
  10. Conduct regular staff and training meetings. Promote worker safety program. Identify and correct officer preparedness by conducting additional coaching and training as needed

Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree (4 years of military experience with Honorable Discharge or 3 years of full time law enforcement experience may be substituted.) Ability to communicate effectively in English. Completion of a basic security guard training program.

Work Experience
Three years of directly related work experience including 1 year in a Supervisory position. At least 21 years of age. Must successfully complete a background investigation to include a criminal, credit reference checks and drug screening.

Must meet specific state requirements on licensing and regulations of security guards.
